The dangerous advice of the Zionist general to confront Hamas and the Third Intifada

A Zionist general and head of the Palestinian section of the Amman military intelligence service advised Tel Aviv to strengthen coordination with the Palestinian Authority to counter Hamas’ growing power in Palestine and prevent a third intifada.

Zionist General Mikhail Milstein, head of the Palestinian section of the Amman military intelligence service, says the recent war in Gaza has undermined and changed many fundamental assumptions about Israel and Hamas.

He, who is an adviser on Palestinian affairs at the Israeli Ministry of War, claimed: Hamas sees the relative stability of security in the West Bank as one of the strategic challenges, especially as it has been working hard for a decade and a half to start a fire in the West Bank and launch a third intifada, and a wave of operations.

The Zionist official added in a note published on the website of the Zionist regime’s Channel 12: “The West Bank is still relatively stable in terms of security, despite the severe crises between Israel and Palestine. Crises such as the outbreak of four fierce battles in the Gaza Strip, the relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem and the announcement of the deal of the century sparked disputes between Tel Aviv and Ramallah.

The Zionist general believes that the recent Gaza war was a kind of test of Israel’s basic hypotheses about the Palestinians. In the case of the Gaza Strip and Hamas, some hypotheses that were hampered by Hamas’ unwillingness to escalate the conflict and prioritize livelihood considerations over ideological considerations related to a resolute struggle against Israel were undermined.

He explained that the situation in the West Bank is based on a set of basic Israeli hypotheses about the interests of the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian people, but the field reality has proven that these hypotheses are not valid. Despite the fierce war that Israel imposed on the Gaza Strip, no other armed front was created in this part of Palestine against Israel, despite tensions throughout the West Bank and the participation of several thousand Palestinians in this new tension.

He explained: “The security situation in the West Bank remains fragile and deteriorating for two main reasons: First, the deteriorating economic situation of the Palestinians; An issue that is at the heart of public priorities. Second, the possibility of obvious damage to the holy places, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore, relative stability in the West Bank is not obvious, and Israel must work hard to strengthen it, especially after the Gaza war. “A war in which Hamas emerged as a brave national leader, unlike Abu Mazen, who seemed to be tied to ‘holy security coordination’ and unable to rise up for heroic resistance.”
