News of the severe torture of the former Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

According to a report, the former Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia was tortured so much in prison that he was unable to walk and was not allowed to use painkillers.

Muhammad bin Nayef was the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from January 2015 to January 2017, when he was ousted by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and replaced by Muhammad bin Salman.

Bin Nayef was arrested on March 5, 2020, along with his uncle, Ahmad bin Abdul Aziz, on charges of treason.

According to NBC, bin Nayef was severely tortured during his detention so that he could not walk without help.

The report said: There is pressure on Joe Biden’s government to intervene to help bin Nayef. It is unclear whether the Biden government intervened behind the scenes or not. But bin Nayef’s detention conditions have recently improved and his family has been allowed to visit him.

The network quoted two informed sources as saying that Mohammed bin Nayef was detained in a government complex near the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh and has lost about 23 kilograms of weight so far.

Informed sources stressed that bin Nayef’s shoulder was injured due to severe beatings and he was not allowed to take painkillers. He is not allowed to leave and has not been allowed to see anyone, including his personal physician or lawyers.

The British Times recently reported that Ben Nayef was being tortured in a prison in the middle of the desert and was unable to walk without a cane.

Last year, bin Nayef’s lawyers announced that he was being held in an unknown prison without the presence of a doctor and without any contact.

Since taking office as Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman has carried out a massive purge within the Saudi family, arresting and imprisoning anyone he felt threatened by.
