Pak Sahafat – Friday, the bombers of the Israel attacked Damascus (Syria’s capital) in an open aggression for the seventh time in the last 40 days and caused damage to it.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, the bombers of the Zionist regime fired several rockets towards Damascus from the occupied Golan, and the air defense of the Syrian army tried to intercept and destroy some of them, and some of the rockets also hit targets near Damascus.

In the early morning of Thursday, the Zionist enemy attacked some centers south of Damascus with several missiles in an aerial attack from the side of the occupied Golan, which the Syrian army’s air defense was able to counter some of them.

In addition to bombing Aleppo and Damascus airports, the Zionists have bombed Damascus and its surroundings several times recently.

The sum of these measures, along with the spread of the wave of protests in the occupied territories against the Tel Aviv authorities and the confusion and inability of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the ruling regime of Tel Aviv to deal with it, prompted this regime to the crisis in the territories of Tel Aviv to move the occupation outside the borders of the Zionist Provisional Regime, which according to the Tel Aviv authorities, is the best and easiest way for the Zionists to bomb the Syrian territory.

Continued aggression of the Zionist regime in Syria

One of the worst bombings of Syrian soil by the Zionist regime in recent years happened in May 2013; At least 300 Syrian soldiers were martyred and many were injured in these attacks on Syrian military centers in the suburbs of Damascus.

The heavy aggression of the Zionist regime on the territory of Syria and the martyrdom of a number of Syrian soldiers caused the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to talk on the phone with the current and then Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, in this regard and express his views on these attacks.

Following this phone call at the same time, “Alexander Lukashevich”, the then spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced his country’s position regarding the attacks of the Zionist regime on Syria. The intensification of the armed conflict creates the risk of creating new centers of tension in the region, which may not only cover Syria, but also Lebanon and spread to the border between Lebanon and Israel.

At the same time, the president of Syria ordered the deployment of new Russian missile launch platforms to the army of this country, and the Syrian army was also ordered to react to the actions of the Zionists immediately and without asking the Syrian leaders for an opinion.

This issue caused the Zionist regime’s attacks on Syrian territory to stop for a while, but this issue was not permanent, and after a few months, the Zionist regime’s air attacks on Syria started again with less intensity.

The process of repeated attacks by the Zionist bombers on the Syrian territory continued until on April 20, 2017, the T4 airbase in Homs province, north of Damascus, was targeted, and as a result, seven Iranian military advisers were martyred.

It was in February of 2017 that for the umpteenth time, Bashar al-Jaafari, the representative of Syria at the United Nations, during his speech in the Security Council, protested against the repeated attacks of the Zionist regime’s bombers on Syrian territory, and said: Isn’t it time for the Security Council to take the necessary measures to stop Israel’s continuous attacks on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, or is it better for Syria to retaliate and attack Tel Aviv airport, similar to the Israeli attacks on Damascus International Airport, to attract the attention of supporters and To attract the cause of war in this council?

The opinion of the Syrian authorities about the aggression of the Zionist regime and not responding to it

Syrian political, military and analysts have almost a unanimous opinion about the Syrian army not responding to the repeated aggressions of the Zionist regime on Syrian territory, although many people in this country and even the people of the region are waiting for the option of “missile response to a missile”.

“Faisal al-Qammad”, the foreign minister of Syria, recently emphasized about the frequent attacks of the Zionist regime on the city of Damascus and its suburbs that sooner or later his country will respond to these aggressive attacks.

At the same time, the Syrian Foreign Minister announced that Damascus is not eager for conflict and what it needs now is wisdom and planning.

He added that “this issue has occupied the minds of Syrians and even non-Syrians and the entire axis of resistance.” I think there is some logical wisdom in this matter. Syrian public opinion is willing to react, but when the reaction operation is considered, the decision in this regard will be the responsibility of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The head of the Damascus Center for Strategic Studies, like Faisal Al-Maqdad, and Brigadier General Turki Al-Hassan said that Damascus will respond to the aggressions of the Zionist regime at the right time and place.

“Bassam Abu Abdullah”, in an interview with IRNA in Damascus, clarified that this question is raised both at the internal level of Syria and at the level of the resistance axis (in Idlib and Aleppo provinces).

Abu Abdullah stressed that this issue does not mean that the Syrian army does not respond to the Zionist regime, and added: The Syrian army is now confronting this regime’s missiles, and Damascus’s support for resistance movements in Palestine and Lebanon is also an indirect response to the Zionist enemy.

Missile response, the only option to deter the Tel Aviv regime

Regarding the frequent attacks of Zionist regime bombers on Syrian territory, the issue should be addressed from three perspectives: The first look is the continuous aggression of the Zionist regime on the Syrian territory, which shows that the authorities of Tel Aviv do not adhere to international laws in any way, and the aggression on the territory of other countries has become part of the evil nature of the Zionists.

The second view is the inaction of the United Nations and the Security Council regarding the repeated aggressions of the Zionist regime on Syrian territory; In recent years, the Security Council and the United Nations have always shown that they have become a tool in the hands of Western countries and the Zionist regime, and have practically lost their independence, and in any issue in which the interests of the Zionists and the West are involved, such as the issue of war Enter Ukraine.

Some analysts believe that the bombardment of Syrian positions in recent times by the Zionist regime is due to the projection of this regime due to many problems and the spread of internal protests and the inability to deal with it, therefore Netanyahu wants to start a war by provoking Syria to respond.

On the other hand, some other analysts of the region believe that the crushing response of the Syrian army, considering the existing conditions of this regime, which is engulfed by the conflict, can widen the wave of protests in the occupied territories and bring the Zionist regime closer to its fall.
