Bin Salman improves the situation of the Jews in Saudi Arabia and sets the condition for general normalization

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman took an unprecedented step to improve the situation of Jews in Saudi Arabia and increase their numbers, as a condition for improving the US government’s treatment of him for public normalization.

Informed sources told Saudi Leaks that a synagogue has recently been secretly opened in Riyadh, offering Jewish food, birthdays, marriage, fasting and forgiveness on a regular basis, in addition to support and dialogue.

Sources said all of this was posted on the rabbis’ website and authorized by the government. He traveled to Riyadh under the auspices of civil security and announced a mobile phone number to connect with the Jewish community in Saudi Arabia.

Hebrew media, meanwhile, confirmed that Jake Sullivan, the US president’s national security adviser, met with Salman in Riyadh on September 27 to discuss the possibility of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The Hebrew website “Vala” stated that Bin Salman does not rule out the possibility of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, but he noted that such a move would take time, and provided Sullivan with a list of steps to be taken before such a move.

Some of these steps are related to the improvement of relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia, following the cooling of these relations since the beginning of Joe Biden’s administration, in the field of human rights violations, especially the assassination of Jamal, a Saudi journalist Khashgeji, because of his criticism of Bin Salman.

Biden confirmed the release of a CIA report a few months ago stating that bin Salman had ordered Khashgeji to be abducted and killed. According to Wala, any Saudi move to normalize with Israel is expected to be part of a larger agreement that includes Israeli steps toward the Palestinians and US steps to improve relations with bin Salman, who is yet to meet or refuses to talk to them.

According to the Hebrew media, Saudi Arabia’s accession to the “Ibrahim Pact”, which forms a regional union with Israel, will give legitimacy to other normalization agreements between Arab and Islamic countries and Israel.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and his US counterpart Anthony Blinken discussed Sullivan and bin Salman in a statement after their meeting in Washington last Thursday, but neither of them discussed normalizing relations with Israel.

Last week, however, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid raised the issue of normalizing relations between Israel and other Arab and Islamic countries during his meetings with Blinken and Sullivan.

Following Lapid’s meetings in Washington, an Israeli official told a news conference last Thursday that an Arab or Islamic country would “definitely” join the “Ibrahim Agreement” next year.

Vala added that Biden’s government officials said in a video interview with leaders of American-American Jewish organizations last Friday that Washington was establishing quiet contacts with several Arab and Islamic countries and that they were likely to join the “Ibrahim Agreements”.»

They noted that strong ties between Israel and the United States are a key element in all talks with those Arab and Muslim countries.

It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia supported the agreement to normalize relations and alliance between Israel and the UAE and gave the green light to Bahrain to join the “Ibrahim Pact”. Saudi Arabia also responded to a request from former US President Donald Trump for permission to fly between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain to cross Saudi airspace.

It seems that the US government is actively working to strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia to move towards normalization with Israel and reach new normalization countries that have signed the “Ibrahim Agreement”, and this is an insistence. In strengthening relations with Saudi Arabia and the high response of the administration of US President Joe Biden.

There is no doubt about the development of Saudi Arabia’s relations with Israel in recent years, and despite the denials of Saudi officials, there is a cumulative historical background of experience that confirms this and cannot be ignored.
