mission

According to Zhao Lijian, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, as well as the local authorities of this country: When Chinese police forces ask journalists and protesters to leave the protest site, they face the persistence of a person who, unlike other people, does not reveal his identity and at first glance seems to be one of the same People, not willing to leave the place and disobeying the police order. He was not willing to voluntarily submit his journalistic credentials to the police and tried to keep his work identity a secret.

He then raised three issues in the form of questions to the British government and the BBC:

First: how does the British government deal with internal demonstrations? In 2020, the British police arrested more than 150 people who came to the streets to protest the corona quarantines. In 2021, the British police arrested more than 200 people during public protests on economic issues. There are clear videos of British police brutally beating protesters.

Second: how does the British government treat journalists? You surely remember how a few years ago a female Chinese journalist was even physically assaulted just for asking a question and expressing her opinion in one of the conservative party conferences and was finally found guilty by the English court.

Third: How does the BBC report and introduce China? What is the purpose of the BBC trying to present a negative image of China and various issues of this country with fake and distorted reports? Is the BBC’s mission to provide clear news or fake news?

At the end of his answer to the question about the behavior of the BBC and the British government, he said: England must respect the facts, be careful about its behavior and end hypocritical policies and double standards.

Due to the overcrowding in China and the possibility of severe crises if infectious diseases are not controlled, the government of this country has inevitably turned to the zero-covid policy to deal with the explosive spread of this disease, and to implement it, it has established measures that, naturally, the conditions for people.

China, which is rapidly becoming the first economic power in the world and overtaking the United States, has achieved stunning progress in the field of various technologies, economy, science and industries, etc., and this trend is extremely worrying America and its western allies. Of these, the westerners are struggling to block the progress of the Chinese by using various tools, including the media, and in this field, the BBC, as one of the oldest news organizations in the world, is always a tool to advance the hypocritical policies of the government.
