Many cyber-databases, from official websites to social media activists, publish vast amounts of misinformation and data, as well as fake videos that allegedly took place in Ukraine, but after research, it becomes clear that they were taken from computer games or occurred years ago in other countries of the world.

The director of Al-Mayadin Online website said in this regard: The process of misleading, which is widely practiced on social networks, has become an integral part of war and conflict, and is considered an indispensable tool for creating a certain image of it on social networks, and in fact through this, mental and psychological conditions.

According to this cyberspace expert, the role of social networks in organizing public opinion can never be ignored, because in any case, when we talk about cyberspace, our audience is in fact a young segment of society, so the use of play images Computers or sequences from science fiction movies and series are also obvious, as they can more easily accompany young people’s fantasies.

In this regard, and in particular, the American media is trying to portray Russian President Vladimir Putin as an evil person and emphasize that this is a brutal war against civilians.

Another part of the report quotes the Associated Press as saying: The messages, images and clips posted on Twitter, Facebook and Telegram are more than the number of airstrikes against Ukraine.

The Associated Press added in its report: The invasion of Ukraine is the first major armed conflict in Europe in the age of social media, and occurs at a time when the small screens of smartphones are the dominant means of communication and carry the risk of the immediate dissemination of misleading information.

In another part of Al-Mayadin’s report, quoting the Washington Post, it is stated: In the Ukraine war, social networks are creating a new kind of war dust.
