Yemeni Defense Minister: The eighth anniversary of the invasion of the country will be the stormiest year of resistance

Pak Sahafat – Yemeni Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Nasser Al-Atefi said on Tuesday night on the eve of the anniversary of the Saudi-led invasion of his country: “The eighth anniversary of stability and endurance will be a stormy year for Yemen and a year with the most advanced and strongest strategic weapons achievements.”

According to Pak Sahafat News agency from Yemen’s Saba news agency, Al-Atami added on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the Saudi coalition aggression: Today, we are taking solid steps to build a new strategic military achievement, one that will bring unprecedented surprises and restore the balance of power to the Yemeni forces.

Addressing the aggressors in Yemen, he said that if the aggressors and criminals in Yemen continue their aggression and crime, they will achieve nothing but tragedy.

Al-Atefi described the coming days as completely different from the past, saying that these days will be terrible for the aggressor countries with all the military standards, which will have a strategy to liberate Yemen’s full and complete independence.

He said that Yemen’s missile capability is advanced today and continues to be even more advanced in terms of accuracy and range, adding that the system is equipped with intelligent systems that make it difficult for [enemy] missile defense systems to intercept.

The Yemeni Minister of Defense noted: [In the production of] [Yemeni] drones, we also see the expertise and efficiency of the Yemeni forces.

He said that the Yemeni forces have succeeded with this level of expertise and efficiency in making rapid achievements and major changes in the construction and development of air defense systems that will surprise everyone.

The Yemeni Minister of Defense said that the more the savagery of the aggressors and the destruction and siege of Yemen by the aggressors, the more it will only strengthen the endurance and stability of the Yemeni people and army.

He considered jihad and martyrdom as the only way to freedom, independence, dignity and taking back all the land of Yemen, which is the basis for the freedom of all the sanctities of the Islamic Ummah.

Al-Atefi’s remarks come as the Yemeni missile and drone unit has carried out several deadly attacks in various parts of Saudi Arabia over the past few days, targeting the country’s oil facilities.

The Saudi coalition claimed Sunday morning that it had intercepted and destroyed four attack drones in southern Saudi Arabia.

The coalition said the attack drones targeted the Aramco facility in Jizan and the desalination plant in al-Shaqiq.

According to the report, the Dhahran power plant and the Khamis Moshit refinery in the region were other targets of the drone strikes.
