The world must hold the Saudi regime accountable for the genocide in Yemen

Pak Sahafat – The Ministry of Human Rights of the National Salvation Government of Yemen strongly condemned the continuation of the crimes and genocide of the Saudi aggressor army against Yemeni civilians and African immigrants, especially in the border areas of this country, and called on the international community to stop the Saudi government from being silent and passive.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Sunday, quoting “Al-Masira”, in a statement, referring to the latest case of crimes committed by the Saudi army and forces on the border between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, which resulted in the martyrdom of one person and the wounding of 11 others, the ministry expressed its concern over the continued silence of the United Nations and international institutions and organizations.

This statement states: We remind the world and all humanitarian organizations that the victims of Saudi attacks since the beginning of the ceasefire have reached 2,258 people, of which 285 martyrs have lost their lives in the border areas of Saada province in northern Yemen.

Referring to the continuation of the process of killing and shooting civilians and African immigrants living in Yemen, this statement added that these civilians are subjected to the most severe forms of torture and harassment.

The Ministry of Human Rights of Yemen published a humanitarian appeal and asked free nations and human rights organizations to put pressure on the Saudi regime to stop the process of committing more crimes and genocide against Yemeni citizens and African immigrants in the border areas of Yemen and to condemn these crimes and holding the perpetrators accountable should be done on human grounds.

This ministry once again asked the relevant institutions and all humanitarian and international organizations to investigate the crimes of the Saudi regime in the border areas and the killing and torture of citizens and refugees, considering the high number of victims and the lack of health facilities.

Referring to the importance of the activities of active organizations in Yemen, this statement called for the provision of the necessary needs to help the wounded.

Human Rights Center “Eye of Humanity” also condemned the new crime of the artillery unit of the Saudi aggressors in the “Shada” area of Saada province, which led to the martyrdom of a Yemeni citizen and the wounding of 11 other civilians.

This center also condemned the silence and inaction of society, institutions and international organizations regarding the crimes of the aggressor coalition countries and their mercenaries against Yemenis.

Yesterday, 9 citizens, including 3 African immigrants, were injured by the shooting of Saudi soldiers in the border area of ”Shade” and “Manbeh” in Saada province and were taken to Al-Talh Hospital and Manbeh Rural Clinic.

With the escalation of attacks by the Saudi-led aggressor coalition against the border areas despite the declared ceasefire, a number of civilians are killed every day.

Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, and with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime, started large-scale attacks against Yemen – the poorest Arab country – from April 6, 2014.
