The Lebanese writer and political analyst announced the new US plan to revive ISIS on three fronts against Iran, Iraq and Syria.
Lebanese writer and political analyst Tawfiq Ibrahim on Wednesday (March 17th) announced Washington’s move to revive ISIS in a new guise.
“In an interview with the Iraqi news site Al-Maulouma, he said: In line with its plan to revive ISIL with a new plan and cover, the United States is trying to transfer ISIL militants to the Tajik-Iranian border in any way possible.
The Lebanese analyst warned of the transfer of thousands of ISIS fighters to the mountains of Iran near the Tajik border and said: The United States is seeking to revive ISIS in three directions: east of the Euphrates River, and the Iraqi-Syrian-Iranian border.
He has previously said that the United States seeks to provoke wars in Iran, Iraq and Syria for its own interests, not to ensure stability and security in the region, as it claims.
Nasser Qandil, a former member of the Lebanese parliament, also acknowledges the apparent efforts of the United States and its allies to revive ISIS in Iraq and Syria as a justification for continuing to maintain US forces in those countries.
He previously stated: The revival of ISIS is taking place with a strategic goal and as a trump card in the hands of the United States. The new American position will open the door to settlement plans, but it will be a very tortuous path. The US military deployment in Syria and Iraq and its connection to counter-terrorism cases comes amid open efforts by Washington and its allies to revive ISIS as a justification for staying in the region.
“Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah,” the secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, also referred to the reactivation of ISIS and its elements in Syria and Iraq in late February, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lebanese resistance commanders and said that, The new US administration, led by Joe Biden, intends to use the terrorist group to justify its presence in the two Arab countries, and this action began after the official and popular demands for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq increased.
