The UAE has claimed that it did not use Pegasus’s spyware

Abu Dhabi described the reports as “without evidence” following numerous media reports about the use of Zionist spyware by some countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to media reports on Thursday evening about the country’s use of the Pegasus spy tool.

Various media outlets, including the Washington Post, Le Monde, the Guardian, and several other sources, recently revealed that a Zionist spyware called Pegasus has been sold to some countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and has been used to hack into the phones of several important figures around the world.

The UAE State Department claimed in its Twitter account that the news “claims” that the news “has no evidence and is completely false.”

Meanwhile, the British Guardian newspaper reported yesterday, based on a series of analyzes, that the United Arab Emirates was involved in the controversial project of Pegasus’s spyware’s hacking of British phones.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia, another country mentioned in the case as a listener of conversations, also reacted to these reports yesterday.

In an interview with Saudi television yesterday, a Saudi official called the reports “baseless allegations”, claiming that Saudi Arabia’s policies were consistent and that it would not accept such actions.

The Guardian, which has long leaked information about Pegasus spyware developer, said in a report that Tel Aviv had licensed the software to the Saudi government.

NSO spyware has been used to successfully hack 37 smartphones belonging to journalists, government officials and human rights activists from around the world, according to a study by 17 media outlets released Sunday.

Some media outlets also reported on Wednesday that some high-ranking Iraqi religious, political and military figures had been targeted by the Zionist spy.
