Saudi Prince Turki bin Talal al-Saud has admitted that he went to Jerusalem with the consent and order of former Saudi King Fahd to meet with Yasser Arafat, the former head of the Palestinian Authority.
According to Pak Sahafat news agency, Turki bin Talal, who is now the ruler of Saudi Arabia’s Asir region, after years of secrecy, told the Rotana network’s “Picture” program that it was around 2004 or 2005 to visit Arafat, which is under siege.
“I went to Jerusalem under the pretext of a relief mission when I was not allowed to do so,” he said: I told King Fahd that I had coordinated with the United Nations on the implementation of a project, and he allowed it, subject to the rules and transparency.

Turki bin Talal, claiming that he did not convey any political message, said about what happened during his meeting with Arafat: My father had advised me to send a message about the plans to be made in Palestine.
