Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is scheduled to travel to Oman in the coming weeks, and the trip will have more economic implications.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will travel to Oman in the coming weeks, signaling new signs of growing relations between the two countries, Bloomberg News reported.

The American news agency reported: This imminent trip is the Saudi Crown Prince’s second trip outside Saudi Arabia since the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, bin Salman has previously made a brief trip to Egypt.

Stating that “Saudi Arabia has always had good relations with Oman,” Bloomberg wrote: Muscat also has friendly relations with Iran. Also, relations between Muscat and Riyadh have expanded over the past year, and bin Salman’s next trip has more economic dimensions for Oman.

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq traveled to Saudi Arabia this year as part of efforts to establish broader ties with Riyadh, especially in the areas of economic and joint ventures.

This is the first foreign trip of the new Sultan of Oman since sitting on the throne of this country. Oman also plays a pivotal role in trying to find a political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
