The presence of the head of the Hamas political bureau in the streets of Gaza

Yahya al-Sanwar, whose house was bombed by Israeli fighters during the 12-day Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip, took to the streets of Gaza today.

Yahya al-Senwar, head of Hamas‘ political bureau in the Gaza Strip, took to the streets of Gaza today, two days after the ceasefire began.

In the first attempt, he went to the house of the martyr “Bassem Isa”, one of the commanders of the martyrs of the Al-Qassam battalions, and met with the family of this martyr.

This is the first public appearance of the leader of the Hamas movement after the recent 12-day war with the Zionists.

On the other hand, Israeli Minister of War Benjigantz had previously said that al-Senwar and al-Qassam Brigades Commander Mohammed al-Daif were still the main targets of the regime’s assassination.

Clashes between the Zionist regime and Palestinian resistance groups began on Monday, May 10, after the end of the resistance strike in Tel Aviv over the need to end the attacks in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During the clashes, which lasted until Friday morning, the Zionist regime, in its attacks on residential areas, killed Palestinian women and children, and in response to these crimes, Palestinian resistance groups targeted the regime’s positions. They fired rockets, and the Iron Dome system failed to intercept many of them.

On Thursday evening, after some news sources reported the possibility of a fire, the Zionist regime’s security cabinet officially agreed to a ceasefire mediated by Egypt.

An hour later, Palestinian resistance groups said in separate statements that they would abide by the ceasefire until Tel Aviv adhered to the ceasefire.

Palestinians took to the streets in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, to celebrate the victory of the resistance, while all the Zionist media acknowledged Tel Aviv’s defeat in this new adventure against the Palestinian resistance and the huge costs of the Zionist regime during this period.
