In a speech, one of the leaders of the Sadr faction in Iraq explained the next step of the faction after announcing the final results of the parliamentary elections.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, in an interview with Shafaq News, Issam Hussein, one of the leaders of the Sadr faction in Iraq, said referring to the next step of the faction in the formation of the new Iraqi government: The next stage is a new political structure that will be supported and approved by the national or political majority, and after the election results are confirmed, the government will be formed easily.

He added: There are positive responses and reactions from political parties and factions in this regard.

Issam Hussein continued: Some political parties are trying to delay or delay the passage of early parliamentary elections by filing cases with the Federal Supreme Court.

The Iraqi official also said: These parties are trying to play with time to form an agreement government again, and we completely reject this issue and we cannot accept it.

The Iraqi Electoral Commission announced the final results of the parliamentary elections in a press conference on Tuesday, announcing a turnout of 44%. According to the final results, there was no change in the order of the victorious coalitions and only five seats were changed.

According to the final results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections, the “Sadr” faction, affiliated with Muqtada al-Sadr with 73 seats in the first place, the “Leadership” coalition (which is the largest Sunni coalition) with 37 seats in the second place, the “Government of Law” coalition Led by Nouri al-Maliki, they came in third with 33 seats.
