The anger of the Saudis over the poor performance of the Saudi authorities in controlling the flood in Makkah

Pak Sahafat – Many Saudi people and social activists criticized the government’s poor performance following the flooding in Makkah and the destruction of neighborhoods and cars.

According to the report of the Pak Sahafat News Agency, Saudi sources announced about the flooding of roads in Makkah, which has caused serious problems.

Social media users in Saudi Arabia published video files showing the devastating flood.

This city has found a critical situation and the strong current of the flood has trapped many cars in the flood and has even caused closure of schools, delays in flights and traffic.

The cities of Saudi Arabia have witnessed heavy rains yesterday and the disruption of services has caused protests by Saudi citizens.

No casualties or deaths have been officially announced due to these floods, but the official Saudi news agency announced that the Saudi Red Crescent in Makkah has increased its maximum preparedness.

According to the report of this news agency, the National Meteorological Center has issued warnings regarding the occurrence of floods following heavy rains in Makkah.

In addition to Mecca, the cities of Taif and Jeddah are also on high alert, with Saudi officials urging citizens to “use caution” and avoid dangerous places such as areas with heavy rains and pools of water.

The flooding in Makkah following the flooding in Jeddah once again angered the Saudis and they criticized the weak infrastructure.

The flood of Mecca will take people’s houses, residential neighborhoods and properties, but it doesn’t matter, the most important thing is that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is building Neom, a city where people and cars fly!

Saudi activist “Ghanem Al-Dosari” published videos of heavy flooding in the streets of Mecca on his Twitter account and wrote in a tweet: Pray Friday prayers in your homes and don’t kill yourself because Makkah is drowning in the corruption of Al-Saud.

A Saudi user with the name “Waad” also wrote in a tweet: Why is Mecca not given the same attention as “Neum”? What do the citizens of Makkah and Jeddah need to do to attract the attention of the government?

One of the users posted a video of the torrential rains in Makkah and announced: “These weak people are victims of corruption and imaginary projects. Makkah is now witnessing heavy rains that have turned into floods due to lack of services.

Activists in Saudi Arabia accused the country’s authorities of not providing the necessary services to improve the infrastructure and water and sewage network in Makkah, while others called on the government to support the rest of the cities similar to the Neom project.

From time to time, Saudi Arabia witnesses similar incidents that sometimes lead to loss of life and heavy financial losses.

Also, several people died due to floods in Saudi Arabia. The intensity of the flood in some passages and areas of Jeddah was so strong that it carried away many cars and led to power outages in some areas. The rain led to the closure of offices and schools in this province and blocked the road from Jeddah to Makkah for several hours.

Many social users accused Al-Saud of neglecting the people and their needs and said that the purpose of this neglect is insulting the nation and destroying their future.

In the same context, a number of Saudis expressed their anger at the damages they suffered and demanded compensation, while criticizing the Saudi authorities for failing to improve poor infrastructure to deal with natural disasters, especially in the cold season.
