Pak Sahafat – The permanent representative of Syria to the United Nations in Geneva, Haj Qassem Soleimani, described the late commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a hero and a legend who inspires the world.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, “Haider Ali Ahmed” made these statements on Thursday in the meeting on “Extraterritorial violations of human rights with the aim of investigating the legal aspects of the assassination of Martyr Soleimani”, which was held online on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
He said: Qassem Soleimani was a great leader and defender of human rights. He lived like a hero and achieved martyrdom.

The senior diplomat of Syria stated: Qassem Soleimani is considered an inspiring legend, not only in the West Asian region, but also for many countries in the world.
Today’s meeting was hosted by Ali Bahraini, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva, and was attended by ambassadors and representatives of other countries, as well as intellectuals and experts.
At the beginning of the meeting, the ambassador of our country called the cowardly assassination of the late Quds Force commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps an international crime, and the people of Iran will not stop demanding justice and accountability for its perpetrators.
He stated: The illegality of this crime in terms of gross violations of international laws and human rights, as well as its short-term and long-term negative consequences on the rule of law and regional peace and security, requires that all relevant international institutions hold the perpetrators accountable and Seek justice for the victims.
