Suspected oxygen deprivation incident at Corona Hospital in Jordan; Is Israel involved?

Jordanian media reported the death of eight Corona patients due to a power outage at Al-Satt Hospital, 10km from the Jordanian capital, although some unofficial sources put the death toll at more than 30.

The families of the victims are now gathered around the hospital and the situation is very tense.

Jordanian sources said that the hospital was well-equipped, citing a technical problem as the reason for the oxygen cut but the families of the victims are protesting, saying how this technical disruption could occur in a newly established hospital with the right facilities and lead to the death of a large number of corona patients while no one has noticed the tragedy.

Some sources, who did not want to be named, spoke about the possibility of a cyber attack on the hospital infrastructure or sabotage in the hospital, and attributed the cause of the incident to external factors.

The sources, who did not want to be named, blamed the occupying regime, given the political tensions between Jordan and the Israeli regime.

It is worth mentioning that following the Israeli regime’s obstruction of the planned visit of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, Crown Prince of Jordan to Jerusalem on Wednesday to visit the holy places and cancel his trip, and after that, Jordan prevented Netanyahu’s plane from passing through its airspace. Country, political and diplomatic tensions have arisen between the two countries.

So far, Jordanian officials have not provided a specific explanation for the incident and its main reasons.
