Seyed Hassan Nasrallah: Some are looking for firewood to ignite the civil war in Lebanon

Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, spoke on the occasion of Al-Jarih Day (Veteran’s Day) about regional and internal developments in Lebanon and the crisis in the formation of the cabinet.

The Lebanese Hezbollah movement announces the anniversary of the birth of Hazrat Abolfazl (AS) on the occasion of Veteran’s Day and celebrates the veterans of the resistance in Lebanon on this day. The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon first discussed the reasons for choosing this day as Veteran’s Day and said that Hazrat Abul-Fazl Al-Abbas (AS) is a figure beyond a veteran.

Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah first praised and thanked all the families of the martyrs of the resistance and offered his condolences to the families of the recent martyrs. He said the resistance forces and their families have gained insight into the direction of the resistance and the area in which they should serve.

Hezbollah’s secretary general referred to recent Yemeni revelations about links between a terrorist group such as al-Qaeda and the US intelligence service. “The reality of the existence of these terrorist groups and who created and supported them is becoming more and more apparent.”

“We are facing terrorist groups created, operated, supported and armed by the US intelligence service to destroy the national armies of countries,” he added.

Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah said the US could be seen supporting the groups from Yemen to Iraq and Syria.

Lebanon and the internal situation in Lebanon

The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon called the situation in the country in need of special attention from political parties and currents and said that it should not be forgotten that in dealing with this situation, one should act with wisdom, rationality and responsibility.

He said that the enemies of the resistance and its allies in Yemen, Syria and Iraq started a civil war and they wanted to start a civil war in Iran and Lebanon and they did not succeed.

Lebanon’s main problems are under the control of the United States

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah added that the problems and crises in Lebanon have a number of reasons, which can include the smuggling of property and money abroad, the blocking of deposits and deposits, the explosion of the port of Beirut and tensions, and the Lebanese must solve these factors.

He continued “But it must be said that US pressure on Lebanon and intimidation of the country from moving towards certain economic options is the main reason for the Lebanese crisis.” He continued: “The current crisis in Lebanon is the result of the policies of decades past. The solution to the crisis is not [merely] the formation of a government; “Forming a government is the beginning of the path to crisis resolution.”

The secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon said that the United States is intimidating in order not to solve the problems of the Lebanese, and that some in Lebanon are afraid of the Americans for moving to China.

He said that the former Prime Minister of Iraq (Adel Abdul Mahdi) went to China and made good agreements with the Iraqi authorities, but he was punished and removed from power.

Responding to rumors about Hezbollah’s budget

Regarding allegations that Hezbollah’s forces and supporters are all being paid in dollars, he said that a large part of the party’s forces are even volunteer soldiers and are not paid for their cooperation and efforts. Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah said: “Even when some in Lebanon received high pensions, those who received salaries from Hezbollah lived hard lives.”

Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah said: “I am aware of the debts of my brothers and sisters; “These are not due to clutter, but these brothers spend part of their salary to help their relatives, friends and those around them.”

He concluded: “We insist that The issue will be resolved within the legal framework, but if, God forbid, the country gets there, then we have big and important options, but its implementation is not possible through governance now, and then [with no other choice] we will go to these options. “to save the country and the people.”
