After the recent war against Gaza and the victory of the resistance, and its leaders thanking Iran for its help, a Saudi newspaper in a note strongly attacked Iran and the Palestinian resistance, but this was met with a reaction from Arab users.
The Saudi newspaper Okaz, in an article entitled “The Conspirators Revealed … Gaza Groups Are the Exceptional Arms of the Iranians” (by Fahim al-Hamed), attacked the Palestinian-Iranian resistance.
In yesterday’s (Wednesday) editorial, Okaz questioned the Palestinian resistance’s motivation for defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, and wrote in accusations that Palestinian groups, led by Hamas and Islamic Jihad “under the banner” of the IRGC’s Quds Force.
The Saudi newspaper claimed that Iran supports Palestinian groups with money and weapons to destroy Gaza from Qom with remote control, without mentioning its country’s lack of aid to Palestine in the face of Israeli attacks.
“The aim of the Iranian regime is to create chaos, war and terrorism in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, even at the cost of destroying Gaza,” Okaz continued, referring to the policy of destroying the image of the resistance, especially Iran, and ignoring the Zionist regime’s terrorism.
