Saudi Arabia executed three of its soldiers for treason

The Saudi Defense Ministry says three Saudi soldiers have been executed for trying to undermine Saudi military interests.

The Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia announced today (Saturday) in a statement the execution of three soldiers affiliated with this ministry.

According to Al-Arabiya, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that the death sentence of the three soldiers had been carried out on charges of treason.

According to the statement, the three men were convicted of collaborating with what they called the enemy in an attempt to undermine Saudi interests.

The official Saudi news agency (WAS) also published a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Defense, stating that the executed people had letters from “Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Yahya Akam”, “Shahr bin Isa bin Qasim Haqwi”, “Hamoud bin Ibrahim bin Ali Hazemi”.

Wass also noted that the death sentence was carried out at the command of the southern region of Saudi Arabia today.
