Saudi Arabia confirms drone strike on Riyadh oil refinery

Pak Sahafat – An official at the Saudi Ministry of Energy confirmed on Thursday night that a UAV oil refinery in Riyadh had been attacked from a distance.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency, from the official Saudi news agency (WAS) the official, who did not want to be named, announced the time of the attack on the Riyadh oil facility at 04:40 on Thursday morning local time.

According to the Saudi official, the attack caused a fire at the Riyadh oil facility, which he claimed was contained and did not cause any damage to the refinery facilities or operations.

The Saudi official also claimed that the drone strike left no casualties.

Yemeni forces also attacked the Aramco oil facility in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, in March last year using six drones.
