Riyadh demanded the extradition of an opponent of Al Saud living in Beirut

Waleed al-Bukhari, the Saudi ambassador in Beirut, asked the Lebanese government to hand over the person who threatened the Saudi embassy to Riyadh.

According to the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, Saudi Ambassador to Beirut Waleed al-Bukhari, in a press conference with Bassam Al-Molawi, the Minister of the Interior of the Government of Lebanon, on Tuesday asked the Lebanese security authorities to arrest Saudi oppositionist Ali Hashem, who had threatened the Saudi embassy in Beirut last week.

The Saudi ambassador in Beirut emphasized that he has sent a letter to the Lebanese government to follow up on this matter.

Last week, a Saudi dissident named “Ali Hashem”, who currently lives in Beirut, threatened the Saudi authorities that in case of any attack on his family, he will target the Saudi embassy in Lebanon.

“Ali Hashem” addressed the Saudi authorities in the broadcast audio file and announced that whoever assaults a member of my family, none of the employees of the Saudi Embassy will survive and I will do what no one else has done before me and I will destroy everyone in the embassy, and you know very well what I am capable of.

This Saudi opponent also said to Waleed al-Bukhari: Lebanon is not an emirate of Saudi Arabia that demands my extradition to Riyadh; the Lebanese constitution allows us to freely express our opinion and supports us.

Waleed al-Bukhari wrote in response on social networks that “terrorism is a product of extremism and its root starts from the thinking of a desperate person”.

After that, al-Bukhari re-shared some of the tweets condemning the threat to the Saudi embassy.

About a month ago, Ali Hashem announced through social networks that because of my opposition to the war in Yemen and my demand for the rights of Shiites in Saudi Arabia, my children are being surrounded and persecuted in Saudi Arabia. They have been denied services and the Al Saud regime thinks that by putting pressure on my family, they can stop me from doing my work. But I must say that today I am stronger and more determined to overthrow the Al Saud regime.

This is while informed sources recently reported that “Mohammed bin Salman”, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, is still suppressing his opponents inside and outside this country, that he has recently established a security unit whose purpose is to suppress his opponents abroad.

According to the aforementioned sources, the Saudi Crown Prince has also ordered that all means of surveillance and espionage be used as a result of the siege of his opponents. Bin Salman also ordered that whoever contacts his foreign opponents inside this country should be arrested.

Earlier, Human Rights Watch mentioned Bin Salman as a dictator who severely suppresses all the opposition inside this country.
