The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar wrote, Palestinian groups announced after their meeting in Gaza that given that the opportunity given to the Zionist regime to reopen the crossings and import Qatari aid to Gaza has expired, and that the regime continues to link the humanitarian case to the issue of the exchange of prisoners, the situation will gradually escalate in the coming days.
The newspaper wrote the process of granting Qatari money to the Gaza Strip has not yet been implemented because despite the signing of an agreement between the Palestinian Authority and the Qatari Committee for Gaza Reconstruction, Palestinian banks fear criminalization under the US Counter-Terrorism Act and have not yet paid it.
