Pak Sahafat – Dr. Iyad Al-Amare, an Iraqi political researcher, called the World Quds Day a major obstacle to Zionist terrorist projects and “a symbol of the victory of the oppressed over oppressors everywhere in the world.”
Al-Amara said: While the crime of Duran was being carried out against the defenceless people of Palestine with the cooperation of the oppressors of the world and the Zionist regime, the International Quds Day came and upset the equations of injustice and oppression. In fact, the International Quds Day made the Palestinians to stop many destructive and terrorist projects of the Zionists with determination and courage. In this way, Quds Day is a symbol for the victory of the oppressed over the oppressors all over the world.

The preparation of Iraqis for the Quds Day march
Tomorrow, Friday, Iraq will witness dozens of ceremonies in different cities, including Baghdad, Karbala, Najaf, Tikrit, Salah al-Din, and Halla, in support of the Palestinian cause and commemorating the International Quds Day.
Under the name “The West Bank is the shield of Quds”, some Iraqi groups and activists have called for a solidarity rally with the Palestinian people and their support on the International Quds Day.
In this call, the people of Iraq, especially the residents of the capital, are invited to gather together with the Palestinian people on the street of the same name in Baghdad (Palestine Street) at 15:00 on Friday and make the World Quds Day more glorious than held every year.
Also, in Baghdad, at the same time and on the occasion of the International Quds Day, several think tanks and cultural centers, including the “Al-Iraq” strategic research center and the “Asr” strategic research center at the “Al-Mustansariyeh” University of Iraq, held meetings to discuss and examine various aspects of the issue.
