International organizations continue to worry about the situation of Saudi prisoners

International human rights organizations continue to focus on investigating the case of prisoners in Saudi Arabia.

As the Saudi government seeks to rebuild its tarnished image globally, the human rights case and the case of political prisoners and freedom of expression remains a major obstacle to the political dreams and goals of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who, according to regional observers and Saudi affairs, is doomed to failure.

UN experts said in the memo that the detention and punishment of human rights activists in Saudi Arabia is not in line with international human rights law.

In their latest follow-up to prisoner cases in Saudi Arabia, UN experts questioned the fate of 20 human rights activists in Al Saud prisons and expressed concern on their continued detention and said, the main reason for the arrest of these activists is their efforts to improve the human rights situation and defend it in the country.

The experts stating that they had sent a note to the Saudi government in May about the case but had not yet received a response said that the Saudi Anti-Terrorism and Financing Law can affect the enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms in this country.
