Intensification of Saudi threats against the opposition in London

Emphasizing Al Saud’s black record of human rights, a British newspaper reported that Al Saud’s threats against the Saudi opposition in Britain had increased.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, the British newspaper The Telegraph exposed the escalation of Al Saud’s threats against the Saudi opposition in London and the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s approach to suppressing any peaceful opposition inside and outside Saudi Arabia.

The newspaper stressed that Yahya al-Asiri, the former secretary general of the Patriotic Union Party, had recently faced threats to the point that he saw a knife on the kitchen window of his house. He has also encountered threatening signs on social media, such as a knife and the word “soon”.

The newspaper wrote: “Among the Saudi opposition in exile in London, there is a fear of repeating the fate of Jamal Khashgeji, a critical Saudi journalist who was assassinated in 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul by Saudi Crown Prince’s agents.”

“British police negligence encourages the Al Saud regime to send mercenaries to London to suppress the Saudi opposition,” the newspaper warned.

The newspaper report states that British police have refused to investigate the threatening campaign against Yahya al-Assiri and to examine his fingerprints on a knife or CCTV camera, while al-Assiri is facing death threats.

Ifex World Network has previously stated that the Al-Saud regime has a history of spying on citizens in Saudi Arabia and suppressing domestic and foreign opposition.

Emphasizing the crimes of Mohammed bin Salman, the World Wide Web announced that the Saudi Crown Prince had intensified his security and repressive campaign against Saudi intellectuals, academics, lawyers and activists.

Earlier, sources said that the Saudi Crown Prince has set up a new security unit to control the infiltration of the opposition outside Saudi Arabia.

The purpose of establishing this security unit is to prosecute all those who communicate with the opposition abroad from inside Saudi Arabia and to prevent them from any activity.

The Saudi Crown Prince uses all methods of surveillance and espionage to block the influence of the opposition and their relations inside Saudi Arabia.

In this regard, “Abdullah Al-Awda”, the director of research of the Persian Gulf region in the Down Organization, announced that Saudi activists are ready for regime change in Saudi Arabia, because they all want parliamentary elections so that the nation’s budget and money do not go to one another, but to the people themselves.

Al-Awda stressed that the Al-Saud regime is a serious threat to the Saudi society and the region, and that instability and corruption will remain in the country as long as it rules Saudi Arabia.
