Following Al-Khalifa’s repressive methods, Bahraini security forces collected Ashura banners and flags from several parts of the country.

According to the Lebanese Al-Ahd, municipal workers backed by “mercenaries” of the Bahraini regime collected Husseini flags from the city of Al-Musali, and security forces removed banners mounted for Muharram on the streets of Al-Balada.

The report goes on to say that after the Bahraini Prison Administration did not allow prisoners to revive the Muharram ceremony, building number five in Bahrain’s Joe Prison witnessed protests.

According to the Lebanese Al-Ahd, municipal workers backed by “mercenaries” of the Bahraini regime collected Husseini flags from the city of Al-Musali, and security forces removed banners mounted for Muharram on the streets of Al-Balada.

The protests took place in Ward 2 of the building, which contains 12 cells and holds more than 200 detainees, most of them political.

Saudi Arabia is witnessing a similar situation. The Security and Intelligence Service in Saudi Arabia (Al-Mabahith Al-Ama) summoned the officials of Al-Masala Mosque and Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque and fined each of them 60,000 Saudi Rials (about $ 16,000).
