Following the revelation of the permanent presence of a Zionist officer in Bahrain, the Al Khalifa Foreign Ministry issued a statement in this regard.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, the Al-Khalifa government’s foreign ministry said in a statement issued by Bahrain’s official news agency that the main purpose of the Israeli captives’ presence in the country was to cooperate in securing freedom of navigation in the region.
According to the ministry, a senior Israeli naval officer will be stationed in Bahrain as a liaison with the US Fifth Fleet.
In another part of the statement, the Foreign Ministry of Al-Khalifa acknowledged the secrecy of this presence until it was revealed by foreign media, saying: “The presence of this Israeli officer is within the framework of coordination in the international coalition that includes 34 countries.”
According to this statement: The coalition’s mission is to ensure the freedom of navigation in regional waters, to protect international experience and to combat piracy and terrorism in the region.
The ministry, whose passive behavior is tangible from the contents of its statement, did not provide further details about the coalition or the tasks assigned to the Zionist officer, but the Bahraini and Zionist media reported that the Zionist officer was scheduled to leave permanently in a few weeks.
According to these media, the agreement was reached on the presence of the Zionist officer during the visit of the Israeli Minister of War Bani Gantz to Bahrain, which took place on February 2 (10 days ago).

He added: We were able to talk openly about some important defense issues for the security of the region.
The trip comes as the online intelligence website recently reported that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain had instructed his country’s intelligence service to strengthen and expand cooperation with Israel’s intelligence services under a bilateral compromise agreement.
In the middle of last month, Bahraini Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa met with and consulted with Israeli Interior Minister Omir Barliyev.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Naftali Bennett, also met on November 2nd.
This was the first time that a meeting at this level was held between the two sides after the signing of the agreement on the normalization of relations between Bahrain and the Zionist regime.
