According to Al-Khaleej newspaper, Nasser bin Hamad said in this regard: His appointment was aimed at increasing the experience and management expertise required by the company at this stage and creating a change in the management of the company’s general affairs due to his extensive experience in transformational management in the oil sector.
Ahmed al-Ghasra, a Bahraini activist (a member of the Liberal Jamal and the Opposition), tweeted sarcastically: For more than 90 years, no Bahraini has been born who could be appointed CEO of the company. This tweet has been welcomed by other activists.
