Al-Mayadin spoke of the complete liberation of Yemen’s al-Hudaidah province

Al-Mayadin news network quoted Yemeni sources as saying that the Yemeni province of Al-Hudaidah (west) has been completely cleared and only the city of Al-Khokha remains.

The sources told Al-Mayadin on Saturday: The withdrawal of the Saudi coalition from the West Bank is due to the concerns of the United States and the United Arab Emirates about the current developments in the province of Marb, northeast of Sanaa.

The sources also noted that coalition forces intend to rectify the situation in the south before a major military defeat.

The sources revealed that the Saudi coalition had transferred all its forces, including the forces of Tariq Saleh and the Al-Amalqa Brigade, from the West Bank to Aden.

According to the report, the army and popular committees have taken control of the entire west coast, and clashes are currently taking place in al-Khokha and Hays.

Yemeni sources noted that the advance of army forces and popular committees on the West Bank has so far reached 700 square kilometers, and that the entire city of Al-Hudaidah, except for the city of Al-Khokha, has been cleared and is expected to be liberated today.

Some sources told Al-Mayadin on Friday that Saudi coalition forces had withdrawn from dozens of positions south and east of al-Hudaidah.

Saudi Arabia launched a large-scale offensive against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, in April 1994, in a coalition of several Western and Arab countries, with the help of the United States, under the pretext of returning ousted fugitive President Abd al-Mansour Hadi to power.

The aggression has killed thousands of Yemenis so far, and according to the United Nations, famine in the country has become the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in the world.
