According to AFP, a group of women have complained to Qatari officials about what happened at Doha airport.
The story goes back to last year; Doha Airport authorities began a physical search of 10 Qatar Airways flights to find the mother of an abandoned baby at the airport. The issue has caused a great deal of controversy around the world, but now women who have been physically searched by Doha airport officials say they have complained to Qatari officials.
The women’s lawyer – 13 of whom live in Australia – said her clients were apologizing to Qatari officials, compensating them and guaranteeing that such incidents would not happen again.

However, after this incident, Qatar apologized for the forced examination of women at Doha Airport.
In the run-up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, such legal challenges could damage the country’s reputation for hosting a major sporting event.
