44,000 martyrs and wounded; the latest statistics from the Saudi war against Yemen

According to a human rights center in Yemen, 1,097 people have been killed and 27,496 civilians injured in the past six years.

The Ayn al-Insaniyah Human Rights Center in Yemen today (Tuesday) reported 4,593 martyrs and wounded in the latest statistics on civilian casualties and damage to Yemen on the eve of the sixth anniversary of the war.

According to the Al-Masira website, the human rights organization said in a statement that 1,097 people, including 3,821 children, 2,394 women and 1,0882 men, have been killed in attacks by the Saudi coalition in the past six years.

Also 27496 people were injured, including 4183 children and 2815 women.

But in the infrastructure sector, Saudi fighter jets have targeted 15 airports, 16 ports, 4,764 roads and bridges, 307 power stations, 551 networks and communications stations, and 2,228 water tanks.

In the area of ​​economic facilities, air and ground attacks by the Saudi coalition in the past six years have destroyed and damaged 395 workshops and factories, 11,387 commercial centers, 416 poultry and sheep farms and 292 fuel trucks.

According to the human rights center, 7,495 vehicles, 464 fishing boats, 905 food depots, 94 fuel stations, 680 markets and 815 food trucks have been targeted.

57,190 residential houses, 178 university buildings, 1413 mosques, 367 tourist centers, 390 hospitals and clinics, 1102 schools and colleges, 7191 agricultural lands, 143 sports venues, 247 antiquities and 48 media buildings were also targeted.

Recently, Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said in a report on the six-year Saudi coalition invasion of Yemen that Saudi fighter jets had bombed Yemen more than 260,000 times in the past six years, yet hundreds of airstrikes between 2015 and 2016. It is not included in this statistic. Also, since the beginning of this year, Saudi fighter jets have been attacked thousands of times in different parts of Yemen.
