137 Arab human rights organizations called for an end to the war in Yemen

Pak Sahafat – 137 Arab human rights organizations called for an end to the war in Yemen, news sources reported Sunday night.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency from Al-Masira, the 137 Human Rights Organizations said in a statement that the war of aggression against Yemen was in full view of the world and the silence and passivity of the international community, led by the United Nations and its affiliates, for fear of halting Saudi and UAE funding.

The statement from Arab human rights organizations said: Statistics from Yemeni human rights institutions and organizations show war crimes, aggression and crimes against humanity committed by the aggressors in Yemen over the past seven years.

Human rights and civil society organizations also called on the free men and women of the world and the human rights forces to press for an end to the war against Yemen.

In the statement, they also called for an end to the war by the aggressor countries and the immediate lifting of the siege of Yemen, especially the port of Al-Hudaidah and Sanaa International Airport, and the entry of food, medicine, medical equipment and fuel into the country.

These organizations stressed the need to apologize to the aggressor countries and compensate for the damage done to Yemen as a result of the aggression.

The statement from Arab human rights organizations also called on all Yemeni parties to sit at the Yemeni-Yemeni negotiating table on the date and place agreed upon by the United Nations to resolve the crisis in the country.

The organizations also called for the formation of an international human rights coalition to prosecute and prosecute those involved in war crimes and crimes against humanity in Yemen.

On April 26, 1994, Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries and with the help and green light of the United States, launched large-scale attacks against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, under the pretext of returning ousted President Abd al-Mansour Hadi to power.

UN agencies, including World Health Organization and UNICEF, have repeatedly warned that Yemen’s people continue to face famine and a humanitarian catastrophe that is unprecedented in the last century.
