A senior Saudi coalition officer is killed in Ma’rib

Yemeni media reported that one of the senior officers of the aggressor coalition in Yemen is killed in the Ma’rib clashes.

Brigadier General Ibad Ahmad al-Halisi, an officer in the 143rd Infantry Brigade of the resigned Yemeni government, is killed in clashes in Ma’rib.

According to Arab 21, he was killed in clashes between forces affiliated with the resigned government and forces of the Yemeni army and popular committees in the southern city of Rahbah.

Fighting has intensified in the south, west and northwest of Ma’rib to seize the oil-rich city, the report said.

According to Fars, last week the forces of the Yemeni army and popular committees managed to advance in important areas between the three provinces of the country and took control of the last base of the invading coalition forces in the south of Ma’rib.

According to Fars, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced this week the liberation of the Numan and Nate areas in the second phase of Operation Al-Nasr Al-Mubin in Yemen’s Al-Bayda province against Takfiri elements.

According to the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, a total of 500 square kilometers of operations were liberated in two phases of operations in al-Bayda province, including the cities of Al-Sumaa, Al-Zahir, Numan and Nata, killing 510 terrorists and 760 others in two operations.
