Iraqi Resistance: We will not allow even one foreign soldier to be present

Following the Iraqi Foreign Minister’s remarks about the need for US forces to assist the United States, the Coordinating Council of Iraqi Resistance Groups stressed the need for all foreign troops to leave the country.

According to the Anatolian News Agency, the Iraqi Resistance Coordination Committee reacted in a statement to remarks made by Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein during the start of the fourth round of strategic talks between Baghdad and Washington.

The delegation stressed the need for the withdrawal of all foreign troops, led by the Americans, from Iraq.

The statement said: We do not allow the presence of a foreign soldier under any title in the territory of our beloved Iraq.

The Iraqi Resistance Coordination Committee further emphasized: The American trainers, together with the forces of the International Coalition, suffered a complete defeat, and with their 10 years of experience in Iraq, they are the result of the collapse of all security and military institutions.

The delegation stressed the need for the withdrawal of all foreign troops, led by the Americans, from Iraq.

The statement came after the Iraqi foreign minister said in a speech at the start of the fourth round of strategic talks between Baghdad and Washington that his country’s forces still needed US-led training, arming and equipping programs.
