Hurricane Elsa triggered a state of emergency in Florida

The formation of Hurricane Elsa, the first Atlantic hurricane in 2021, caused a state of emergency in parts of the US state of Florida.

The official Florida Gov. website and the Florida State Center news website reported the news: Florida Gov. Ron Desantis has declared a state of emergency for 15 counties in the state as the storm approaches.

According to the report, Hurricane Elsa is currently in the Caribbean Sea in southern Haiti and is traveling at a speed of 28 miles per hour (45 kilometers per hour) to the south of Florida, the emergency center in the state of Florida.

The report added: The governor of the state of Florida warned the residents of the state about the occurrence of a hurricane, flooding as the storm approached.
