Trump: Moscow won Biden-Putin meeting

Former United States President Donald Trump yesterday (Wednesday) accused US President Joe Biden of surrendering to Russia, stating that Russian President Vladimir Putin had won yesterday’s meeting with Biden and that the US president had nothing to do with it. He did not win the Geneva summit with his Russian counterpart.

Yesterday evening, Putin and Biden met in Geneva for the first time in 10 years to discuss a variety of issues.

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, Trump in response to the meeting stated that Biden not only did not gain anything from the meeting with Putin, but also gave up the extremely valuable “Rolling Stream” pipeline.

Last month (May), the US president lifted sanctions against the company and the executive director of the pipeline completing the Stream 2 pipeline that transports natural gas from Russia to Germany.

According to the report, 90% of the important Stream 2 rolling pipeline project has been completed, and Biden, contrary to Trump’s previous policies, has stated that it is not worthwhile to be hostile to Germany by stopping the project.

In an interview with Fox News yesterday, Trump said in response to a question about the evaluation of the Putin-Biden meeting: “My guess is that overall, we did not achieve anything. We offered a big arena to Russia and we did not achieve anything. We skipped something (Rolling Stream 2) that was incredibly valuable. I stopped the Rolling Stream pipeline, and this pipeline was stopped, which was returned, and nothing was received in return, and (the Biden-Putin meeting) was just another (normal) day.”

The former US president then continued: “I think (this meeting) was good for Russia. I do not see any results from this meeting.

In this conversation, Donald Trump once again pointed out the unfairness of the results of the 2020 US presidential election and said: “I think the election was incredibly unfair, but I want this person to come and do good for our country.”
