US lawmakers plan to put sanctions on Hamas after the defeat of the Zionists

In the light of the recent victory of the Palestinian resistance groups against the Zionist regime, a group of members of the US Congress have introduced a plan that calls for sanctions against individuals and organizations that support these groups.

In light of the recent victory of Palestinian resistance groups in the 12-day war, a group of US lawmakers has unveiled a plan to sanctions on pro-Hamas individuals and entities and other Palestinian resistance groups.

Mark Rubio, a hardline pro-Zionist MP in the US Senate, was the main proponent of the plan.

The angry statement of the American senator

In a sharp statement, he referred to the Palestinian resistance groups as “Palestinian terrorist groups” and said: “The plan calls for new sanctions against those individuals, organizations and foreign governments who have helped Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian terrorist groups which fired more than 4,000 rockets at Israeli civilians.”

The bill, dubbed the Palestinian International Terrorism Protection Act, calls on the US president to provide the US legislature with an assessment of the US government’s assessment of other countries’ efforts to counter support for Palestinian resistance groups and put on sanctions on them.

Pressure on Biden to support the Zionists

The plan comes as US President Joe Biden has defended the regime’s brutal attacks on Gaza since the start of a new wave of clashes between the Zionist regime and Palestinian resistance groups, calling it “Israel’s right to defend itself.”

His support for the Zionist regime provoked a wave of criticism even inside the United States, to the point that, according to Axius, in one of his telephone conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he stated that he could not resist more pressure.

Rubio worries about the victory of the resistance

Mark Rubio, a senior member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has said that supporters of Palestinian resistance groups need to be held accountable after the recent clashes between Palestinian and Israeli groups.

The Republican senator’s remarks came as analysts say the Zionist regime was surprised by the strength of Palestinian resistance groups and did not expect to see multiple rocket fire from Gaza into occupied Palestine.

The confession of the Zionist pilot

A few days ago, an Israeli pilot acknowledged the defeat of the Zionist regime in the attack on Gaza, stating that the bombing of the towers was the only way to “evacuate despair” against the resistance groups.

He said in an interview with the 12th channel of the Zionist regime: “I do not want to reduce the severity of the attacks that my friends and I carried out. We dropped several tons of ammunition and fire (on the residents of the Gaza Strip) and no one doubts that, but when we went out to carry out the attacks, I felt that the bombing of the towers was the only way to vent our frustration with what was happening, and that (Palestinian) groups in Gaza continued to harass us.

The beginning of conflict and ceasefire

Clashes between the Zionist regime and Palestinian resistance groups began on Monday, May 10, after the end of the resistance strike in Tel Aviv over the need to end the attacks in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In this conflict, which continued until the morning of last Friday (May 21), the Zionist regime martyred Palestinian women and children by violent attacks on residential areas. In response to these crimes, Palestinian resistance groups targeted the regime’s positions with large-scale rocket attacks, so that the Iron Dome system failed to intercept many rockets.

Last Thursday evening (May 20), after some news sources reported the possibility of a ceasefire, the Zionist regime’s security cabinet officially agreed to a ceasefire mediated by Egypt.

An hour later, Palestinian resistance groups announced in separate statements that they would commit to the ceasefire until Tel Aviv adhered to it.

Martyrs of Gaza

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced the number of martyrs of the Israeli aggression in Gaza as 248. Of these, 66 were children and 39 were women. According to the announcement, the number of wounded in this war has reached about 2,000 people.

Palestinians took to the streets in Gaza and the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, to celebrate Tel Aviv’s defeat in this new adventure against the Palestinian resistance and the huge costs incurred by the Zionist media, celebrating the victory of the resistance.
