Tel Aviv War Minister: Al-Senwar and Al-Daif are still our targets

The Israeli war minister threatened to assassinate the leaders of the Hamas resistance movement, claiming that there was a possibility of a reoccupation of the Gaza Strip in the future.

Despite the Zionist regime’s surrender to Palestinian resistance and the announcement of a unilateral ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Tel Aviv officials continue to use rhetoric and repeated empty threats against the leaders of the Hamas resistance movement.

Israeli War Minister Benny Gantz claimed on Saturday evening that he would not allow rockets to continue firing on Zionist settlements or sending incendiary balloons from the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with Cannews, Gantz claiming that Yahya al-Senwar, the head of Hamas ‘political bureau in the Gaza Strip, and Mohammed al-Daif, the commander of al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing), were still targets of the regime, said: “Gaza is not going anywhere and we are not going anywhere.”

He threatened: “I think the Israeli military’s policy of response should be tougher so that we can avoid them [as much as possible] so that it does not happen again. “If they challenge us, we will continue to fight.”

According to the website “Aroutes Shoa”, quoting this interview, the Minister of War of Tel Aviv, referring to the possible need to reoccupy the Gaza Strip, added: “I’m not saying this is not an option that will not happen overnight, but we are trying to make the most of other levels of action.”

Gantz claiming that the United States had not given any blow to the Zionist regime to stop the attacks on the Gaza Strip, added: “If one day we need to occupy Gaza, we will do it.”

He threatened to assassinate the head of the Hamas political bureau in the Gaza Strip as al-Senwar took to the streets of Gaza on Saturday and went to the house of the martyr Bassem Isa, one of the commanders of the al-Qassam Brigades.

Clashes between the Zionist regime and Palestinian resistance groups began on Monday, May 10, after the end of the resistance strike in Tel Aviv over the need to end the attacks in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
