Missile record of resistance in the war against the occupiers of Quds

The Palestinian resistance has been using missiles since its inception, especially since the second intifada in 2000, especially against Zionist settlements near the Gaza Strip. The number of these missiles reached 400 in 2005, which imposed high costs on the Zionist regime, and this was one of the reasons for the withdrawal of the regime’s troops from the Gaza Strip in the same year.

Resistance missiles were developed as a strategic weapon and used in all three Gaza wars; but the 2008 war witnessed fundamental changes in the resistance missile capability, including the range and number of these missiles, in which Tel Aviv was targeted by the resistance missile, which was naturally a fundamental change in the resistance deterrence against the Zionist regime. About 1,500 to 1,700 missiles were fired at Zionist areas during the three weeks of the war.

In the 2014 war, the use of missile resistance increased significantly, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and in that war, which lasted more than 50 days, Israel was exposed to 4,500 to 8,000 missiles and rockets, in which the resistance for the first time It used a missile (R160) with a range of 160 km. Also, long-range missiles such as (J-80), and (Gloss 70), and M-75, and (Sajil-55) and a series of missiles that Al-Qassam Battalions have increased the range of these missiles since their production and use in 2001,  in this war and the Zionist settlements in the Gaza Strip were under their control.

In the new round of clashes in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance continues to use missile weapons as a strategic source, and in the first three days of the war, more than 1,500 missiles hit Zionist positions in occupied Palestine, including occupied Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ashdod, and Asqalan. Also, military targets such as the air base of Hatsarim air base, which is used by Israeli fighters to bomb Gaza, and economic targets such as the Eilat-Asqalan oil pipeline were fired. Zionist media quoted the regime’s army as saying that the Palestinian resistance had fired about 3,000 rockets (and missiles) into the occupied territories since Monday last week (when the clashes began).
