Corona storm and fake news crisis in India; Delhi passed emergency laws

The Indian government has passed emergency laws to crack down on fake Corona news on social networks such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, which have raised fears.

The Government of India has passed an emergency law in the country to counter the fear and panic of the people and to prevent the spread of false and inaccurate news about Corona in the midst of the Covid-19 virus storm.

According to the Rashatudy Network:  The New Delhi government has resorted to emergency laws to crack down on fake news on social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which have disrupted the fight against Corona in times of crisis. One of the most widely circulated fake messages in India is a quote from the Indian Interior Minister who said to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “I will never forgive you.” A message that is falsely circulated on Indian social networks.

The New Delhi government has come under fire in recent days for easing corona restrictions and allowing religious ceremonies and political gatherings. India has previously managed to reduce the number of cases to less than 10,000, but critics say the government’s negligence has caused the recent storm.

The Ministry of Communications and Technology of India has announced that it is monitoring and cracking down on people who have increased people’s fears by spreading false news about the Corona virus.

In the last 24 hours, the number of people infected with the Corona virus, as in the past few days, has been reported at about 350,000.

According to the report, hospitals and health centers have issued official statements declaring that they are unable to manage the influx of patients and that their facilities do not respond to this influx of patients.

The publication of images of patients in the corridors of hospitals in India has been widely reported in the world media and social networks in recent days, and apocalyptic images of the mass cremation of corona victims have been circulating for several days.

Many countries around the world, including India’s neighbors, have closed their borders and suspended passenger flights to and from India.

Several countries, including the United States and European countries, have stated their intention to assist India in this situation.

The Iranian Minister of Health also announced to the Indian government yesterday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to help New Delhi fight the Corona virus.
