Demonstrations and rallies for the release of political prisoners in Bahrain

Demonstrations were held in Bahrain and several European countries for the release of political prisoners, emphasizing the need for the release of these prisoners.

Demonstrations in Bahrain last night saw protests for the fourth night in a row.

The demonstration was attended by a large number of Bahrainis and the mothers of political prisoners held in Al-Khalifa prisons, Al-Mayadin reported.

Demonstrators called on the Al Khalifa regime to release the prisoners as soon as possible, citing the widespread outbreak of the corona.

Al-Mayadin reported that dozens of prisoners in Bahrain had been infected with the Corona virus, and that the protests began after news broke that they had contracted the virus.

The protests stretched from Star Island and Al-Sanabs to Al-Nawidrat, and protesters condemned the censorship of the number of corona patient prisoners by Bahraini officials.

Demonstrators held placards accusing the Al Khalifa regime of endangering the lives of prisoners.

Local sources reported that the people of Al-Deir village confronted the Al-Khalifa regime’s troops. The militants tried to disperse the protesters, but the protests continued.

Coinciding with the Bahraini protests, a number of Arab and Islamic nationals in European countries rallied in solidarity with Bahraini prisoners.

For the second day in a row, a large number of protesters gathered in front of the Bahraini embassy in Britain, demanding the unconditional release of all political prisoners.

Some protesters also rallied in front of the Bahraini embassy in Germany, expressing solidarity with Bahraini prisoners at risk of contracting the Corona virus.

A number of other protesters gathered in Paris to demand the truth about what happened in Bahrain’s prisons.

Meanwhile, 20 law enforcement agencies recently called on Bahraini officials to release opposition activists and human rights defenders.

The organizations stressed that the lives of these people are at risk of coronary heart disease and should be released as soon as possible.
